SANCTUARY GUILD CLEANING GUIDELINES

PRIEST SACRISTY AND SERVERS SACRISTY
As Needed:
1. Wipe down tables, window sills and trim
2. Clean sinks & mirrors
3. Vacuum the sanctuary carpeting if it is messy

SANCTUARY
As Needed:
1. Wipe altars, heater tops and tables
2. Dust mop the marble floors in front of the three (3) altars
3. Vacuum the sanctuary carpeting

FATHER JASANY’S CONFESSIONAL
As Needed:
1. Dust
2. Vacuum

BAPTISMAL FONT
As Needed:
1. Wipe down
Note – Do not change the Water. It uses a special type and needs to be change according to Baptisms and Funerals

HOLY WATER FONTS BY CHURCH ENTRANCE DOORS

Please do not change the holy water or add to it. Gloria Seneff will take care of this as needed.

NOTES:
1. Use Windex for windows and mirrors only.
2. When in doubt, use a clean dry cloth to wipe items down.
3. We also handle the distribution of new missals for each season.
Our custodians mop the floors in the sacristies. They clean the bathroom and mop the floor. They also clean the floors and vacuum the carpets in the congregation area.

Sanctuary Guild Volunteers

ARE YOU LOOKING FOR AN OPPORTUNITY to serve our Parish?

Our Sanctuary Guild is looking for new members. We currently only have 2 crews who serve on the Sanctuary Guild. The volunteers work on a rotating basis and serve once a month cleaning the sanctuary. You are only being asked to commit to clean one time a month for approximately 2 hours. Depending on what needs to be done it should take no more than 2 hours to complete.

You can volunteer to clean the church at any time suited to you. We have groups that clean on Saturday morning; some clean during the week in the morning, or you may choose to clean in the afternoon or evening.
